Howdy Muddies – Mud Pie South has just returned from a fantastic week in Corfu, Greece, where we played the Corfu Beer Festival!
We played 3 nights (Wednesday sep 25 , Thursday sep 26 and Friday sep 27) in front of great and enthusiastic crowds. Our brand of Southern Rock went down like a storm. I almost have to admit that the best night was Thursday when we were asked to trade places with a female band (always the gentelmen we are) which had to make a ferry from Corfu Town later that evening. When we got onstage we were told that we would only have 30 minutes playing time, cutting our set in half. We played 6 songs with such intensity that we brought down the house – totally. That 25 min set will go down in Mud Pie South history.
Hopefully we will be asked to come back next year. We’ll keep you posted on developments so as many of you as possible can join us. Next on the menu for Mud Pie South is our new CD we are working on – all original this time around. Travel wise, we are working on a mini tour to UK in Nov and then Thailand again for Burapa Bike Week Feb 13,14,15.
